Zagłębie Lubin says goodbye to defender Luka Lučić. The Croatian left-back leaves the team after the contract expires, which will not be extended for the next season. Lučić joined Zagłębie Lubin before the start of the previous season from Slaven Belupo. During his one-year stay in Lubin, he played a total of 26 matches, including 24 in the PKO BP Ekstraklasa and two in the Polish Cup. The defender scored one assist in the match won against Legia Warsaw. Lučić's departure means that Zagłębie will have to find a reinforcement for the left side of the defense, which requires filling before the start of the new season. Luka Lučić is the latest player to leave Lubin after the end of the 2025/2026 campaign. Earlier, the departures of Rafał Gikiewicz and Sebastian Kowalczyk were announced. The new league games will start at the end of July, and in the first round, the „Miedziowi” will face Piast Gliwice at their home stadium.
