Zagłębie Lubin had a very exciting season, in which for a long time it seemed that Miedziowi would fight for promotion to the European Cup eliminations. Finally, however, due to a significantly weaker end to the season, Leszek Ojrzyński's team had to settle for only 7th place in the PKO Ekstraklasa table, which is still a good result. Everyone, however, hopes that Lubinianie will at least repeat their results in the new season, and maybe even effectively fight for a place in the TOP 5. To help with this, of course, are the transfers of new players, but also the retention of important players from the current squad. Miedziowi have just announced that three important players from last season have signed new contracts with the club. These are: Jasmin Burić, Damian Dąbrowski and Mateusz Grzybek. The experienced Bosnian played in 25 matches last season and kept a clean sheet eleven times. He has now signed a contract until the end of June 2027. Damian Dąbrowski, on the other hand, has been associated with the club from Lower Silesia for years, and a new contract has also been signed for a year. Similarly, Mateusz Grzybek has played over 70 games for Zagłębie and will continue to increase his tally until the end of the 2026/27 season. And what's more, these transfers may prove to be very important for the club's future. But will it be enough for Zagłębie Lubin to advance to the TOP 5? So only time will tell. In any case, these transfers are a very positive signal for Miedziowi fans.
