Zagłębie Lubin has strengthened its squad by signing Paweł Kosmalski, a talented forward from Śląsk Wrocław's reserves. Kosmalski is a graduate of the Marcovia Marki Football Academy and has also trained with Gwardia Koszalin and Polonia Warszawa. Since 2024, he has been playing for Śląsk Wrocław's second team. Last season, he played in 27 games in the Betclic 2 league, scoring 9 goals and making 3 assists. He was the top scorer for the team, which finished fifth in the league. After the season, the 20-year-old forward decided to join KGHM Zagłębie Lubin. Paweł Kosmalski signed a contract until the end of June 2029. This is the third summer transfer for Miedziowi. For now, Kosmalski will start training with the first team of Zagłębie. If he doesn't make the cut, he may play for the third-league reserves of Lubinian. Kosmalski is not the only forward that Zagłębie wants to bring in this summer. The team of coach Leszek Ojrzyński has already started preparing for the new season. Currently, Miedziowi are training on their own facilities. On June 29, they will go to a training camp in Opalenica. Paweł Kosmalski has a good chance of playing in the first team, as he is a talented and promising player. His experience in the Betclic 2 league will certainly be useful for Zagłębie in the upcoming season. The transfer of Kosmalski is another step in strengthening the squad of Miedziowi. Zagłębie Lubin wants to promote to Ekstraklasa and build a strong team that will be able to compete with the best teams in Poland.
