Zagłębie Lubin says goodbye to transfer flops. Rafał Gikiewicz hasn't played since October. His debut in the team's colors was a match against his former club, where Lubin lost 0:1 in the 1/16 final of the Polish Cup. Gikiewicz made a costly mistake in the decisive moment of the match. Since the end of October, the 38-year-old player has not played a single match. The starting goalkeeper of the team was Jasmin Burić. Sebastian Kowalczyk, an offensive midfielder, joined the team in January 2026. He received opportunities from coach Leszek Ojrzyński during the spring round, but he was unable to secure a place in the starting lineup. He played a total of 9 matches (an average of 41 minutes per match). He did not score a single goal or assist. Jesús Díaz, a Colombian player, spent the most time in Lubin. He was loaned from Raków Częstochowa in September 2025. He will be remembered in Zagłębie for the goal that decided the victory in the final match of the season against Widzew Łódź (2:1). During his 14 matches, he also provided two assists. This is probably not the end of goodbyes in the Zagłębie team. Mihael Mlinarić, who played a marginal role in the season, is still in the team's squad.
