Zagłębie Lubin has a new coach. Piotr Stokowiec has returned to the club after 4 years. His previous stint at Zagłębie was from 2014 to 2017.

What happened?

At that time, he took over a team fighting to avoid relegation, but failed to stay in Ekstraklasa. However, he remained in the position and after a year in the first league, he won promotion. As a newcomer, he finished third and thus earned the right to play in the European League qualifiers.
